Not PCIOL Faco with laser-assisted cataract surgery.
With a scalpel, and is essentially a vacuum to remove the old nuclear target, so that the capsule intact. Then an artificial lens is implanted in the former.
No sutures are required and you go home the same day. It is 2 to 3 months post-op care. The patient has to suppress eye drops several Rx to inflammation and bacteria. It will also follow in the 3 months to ensure that no complications during the operation.
In the United States to work for eye surgery 1500-2500. In India, I would say 300-500 per eye.
